Cristina: I have been thinking about those mental virtues you told me to think about, I mean, what kind of a singer I want to be and stuff.
Collin: Did studying mental virtues give you more self-confidence and trust in your potential?
Cristina: Yes, I believe it did. Thinking about myself as a “real” singer gave me, in a curious way, a feeling that I am entitled to sing gloriously. This sounds stupid, but I had an unconscious belief that, because I am not a professional singer, I don’t have the right to sing like one. Studying my mental virtues helped me to recognize and question this foolish belief of mine. So, what now?
